Learn the Art of lifecasting the face and correcting it, then
turning it into a positive you can sculpt and create
prosthetic molds from!
This class will focus on a fundamentally important skill in
Special Effects Makeup: Life Casting and Creating a
Corrected Positive
But it doesn’t just end with the life cast. In our field, the
lifecast is only the beginning.
We must then take that lifecast and correct it.
Correcting is the art of removing critical undercuts,
imperfections, and parts we just do not need.
Once this is done, we have to take a life cast of our
lifecast! But first, in order to make it mold friendly, we need
to extend the cast walls in a way that allows us to create
beautiful edges and an easily removable negative.
In this class, you will do all of the above to create a
‘Working Positive” that is yours to keep! , And you can use
to sculpt on and create prosthetics from. All materials and
supplies are included with the cost of class! Just bring
your self!
